Episode Synopsis: One of the reasons I wanted to do this podcast was to hear about how other people successfully navigate their weight loss journeys. I wanted to find out what daily actions and habits they found worked to keep them on track and how they kept motivated. I also wanted to find out what made them get started in the first place. In this episode, we talk with Kecia Jackson, a nurse and grandmother, who has lost 70 lbs and has built a healthy lifestyle through nutritious eating and fitness. Her honest approach to what it takes to make real lifestyle changes is refreshing. I learned a lot from Kecia and I think you will, too.
After Thoughts: I’ve had the honor of working with Kecia and watching her transformation first-hand. I’m a huge fan of anyone who transforms their lives and keeps their sense of humor during their journey. Kecia is the epitome of someone who set a goal and worked it daily to make it happen. I have enjoyed every moment of working with Kecia and I’m sure you can imagine all of the awesome conversations we’ve had along the way, including this one. Kecia is truly inspiring.
